GLOBAL EQUALITY LIKE ONE’S HAPPY LIFE
It was the effort of some selected people that made vasudhaiv kutumbakam happens.
We have our minds clear to imbibe its true meaning i.e., the whole earth is our family.
Today, we witness disorder and chaos all around. Industrial wastes and fertilizers have
dwarfed our scientific achievements. Terrorism and nuclear weapons have put the very
existence of our planet in danger.
People are divided on the basis of caste, creed, religion and national and geographical boundaries. The number of poor people is also increasing with the increase in world population. This division has borne a sort of callousness, aloofness and lack of co-operation among the people.
It is not so that no effort is being taken to cure the ills. Various agencies are working towards these problems. But their ideals are too lofty and working system too superficial and away from common people and down trodden. That leaves much to be desired.
We believe that mutual love and fraternity can buy universal peace and happiness. Effort has to be made at a grassroot level. Messages on radio, television and newspapers have not brought desired results. We will have to make a long and continuous effort to achieve peace, happiness and prosperity for all human beings on this earth. This is possible only by remaining in touch with them continuously and ceaselessly
We also believe that it is only a common man, who can understand the necessity and requirement of the other. Therefore, they should be made aware and sincere towards their duties and responsibilities. People should understand that no man can be an island. People will have to take the task in their own hands in order to save the environment and to improve the lot of poor and down-trodden.
It is in this context that we, the member of vasudhaiv kutumbakam, have planned a tour from BALLIA TO DELHI, the capital of India. We will cover a distance of about 1200 kms and touch five states. Some members will travel on foot, while others will travel on four-wheelers. We plan to cover a distance of about 25-30 kms per day during which they will be two camps, each at a distance of 9-10 kilometres. People travelling by vehicles will reach those camps well in advance. They will meet village-heads and local people and prepare them for a meeting and get together in order to feel and know their ideas, requirements, expectations and afflictions. We will present them a questionnaire also to answer. This questionnaire may be modified if need arises.
We will tell the people to emphasize more on creativity and give up retro grate attitudes and behaviour. It is the cry of the hour that people should shirk off those age-old customs and beliefs that do no good to them and society. It brings only inertia and leads only to backwardness. They should be move rationale and progressive in their thought and approach. They should think and act for the upliftment of the humanity and environment.
Objects of the tour
1. To cover 25-30 kms daily.
2. It will have three steps, each at a distance of 9-10 kms.
3. To plant a tree at every stop, which will be entrusted to someone to look after it?
4. To organize a camp and to fill the relevant information of the area in a form.
5. To have a free dialogue with village-folks in order to share and exchange view and
inputs.
6. To caution the people against the ill-effects of polythene. Cattles often chew
polybags and become its victim.
7. To know the numbers of schools and colleges in the locality and whether they meet
the requirements of the students or not and what requires to be done.
8. To know he number and status of hospitals and health untres in the locality and
whether they are sufficient and competent in their services.
9. To know the number of people who are unable to earn even their meals. There are
reports of hunger-deaths from many parts of India.
10. To know the status of power supply.
11. To know the status of agriculture and its requirements.
12. To know the sources of water and whether .it is potable or not.
13. To know the spread of alcohol, tobacco and other harmful substances and to make
the people aware of its ill-effects and caution them against its consequences.
14. To know the status of agricultural land whether it is fertile or not.
15. To know whether there are enough trees or not and to educate the people about
importance of trees and its value for the whole eco-system.
16. To know the health of people and whether they have any arsenic, a poisonous
substance, has been reported in some parts in the ground level water which is
causing eye and skin diseases.
17. To know the status and sources of employment in the villages.
18. To know whether people live in harmony or not and whether class and caste
division exists there also.
19. To make five member of vasudhaiv kutumbakam at every stop. They will spread
and implement policies of the organization and will also try to raise funds to help
the poor and needy.
20. To tell the people that they should see the same soul in others, as they see in
themselves. Every human being of the globe is their brothers.
Delhi, the capital of India, will be the last stop of our tour where we will meet our
honourable president and present him our travel accounts and documents for his
close inspection and sincere consideration. We will also seek his blessing and
guidance do thet we may realize our ideals. We will also meet some other leaders
and eminent personalities and inform them of our travelogue and will seek their
valuable advice and suggestions.

Come and commence a global family by imparting significant contributions for this tour, so that people may follow it as an example and the whole world may know that each citizen of a nation is essentially a human being and he wants to live in harmony with the other. We wish for a clean, pious and holy earth which is not like fire but like water, clear and healthful. We wish for a clean, healthy, happy and peaceful earth.
